The Department of Recreational Sports maintains the 25-yard pool, housed in Memorial Hall Gymnasium. All participants must present a valid NGCSU I.D. and sign in at the lifeguard stand in order to be admitted into the facility. Lap swim and recreational swim is available during open hours of operation.
The pool is available free of charge to NGCSU students, faculty, staff, and retirees. Spouses and dependents of faculty, staff, and retirees are also able to use the pool, but must obtain an NGCSU identification card through the card office for a fee of $10. These individuals must also sign a waiver in the Recreational Sports office in order for the card to be activated for use.
Memberships to use the pool are available through Continuing Education for interested individuals in the community.

Inclement Weather Closings:
The Rec will close at 9pm on Thursday, January 7, 2010 due to inclement weather.
If NGCSU is closed on Friday, January 8, 2010, The Rec and Pool will not open.
