***Federal Teach Grant***

Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant is designed for students who intend to teach full time in a high-need field at a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. Students who receive the TEACH Grant must fulfill a service obligation.

Federal Teach Grant Program Specifics

Here are the steps to apply for the Federal Teach Grant:

Step 1: Must complete a FAFSA - www.fafsa.ed.gov

Step 2: Complete the TEACH Grant Agreement to Serve and Teach Entrance Loan Counseling:
(you will need your FAFSA pin number in order to complete)

Step 3:When you graduate, leave school or fall below half time:

Complete the TEACH Grant certification form. This form should be printed, filled out and returned to the Department of Education at the address shown on the form. DO NOT return this form to the NGCSU financial aid office:
