Career Services launches new initiatives for students, alumni
More than 40 businesses and agencies will come to campus on March 4 to recruit potential new employees at the annual Career Fair, and expectations for student turnout are high, given the state of the job market.
But the event is only the spearhead of a much larger effort by Career Services to prepare students to find employment in an ailing economy.
March 16 forensic symposium to draw investigative professionals

Georgia will host a 2009 Forsensic Symposium on campus March 16-17 for law enforcement, emergency management and medical professionals involved in emergency response and crime scene investigation. The symposium, titled
"The Investigation of Mass Fatalities and Human Identification," will bring to campus a group of experts in fields such as human facial reconstruction, mass fatality and scene management and bio terrorism response.
