Testimonials from the past summer's programs:

"The high level of expectation kept all of us going and reaching for a common goal. The teachers were amazing. I have never seen a group of teachers spend so much time with students."

"I really like the use of the language lab as well as the trips to Chinatown, which was the closest to immersion we can find in America. The constant study of Chinese also accentuated the learning process because we ate, slept, and did everything with Chinese on the mind."

"The class size was perfect and we all were comfortable working with each other. The teacher knew our limits and where to slow down."

"The fact that we were never away from the language really helped. The activities on the weekends also helped lighten the mood. Listening to the music and other incorporation of Chinese culture helped and was interesting."

"The intensity worked. Speaking all day everyday really helped us to learn quickly."

"Not only have I found a new passion in a language but the program taught me SO much more than that.  It was a fantastic introduction into the college world.  I learned how to study and discipline myself like never before."

"The small groups allow for individual attention, help improve listening and speaking."

"Tutors and Teacher:  Excellent! Excellent! They are the reason I will continue with Russian."
