Life Insurance

NGCSU provides $25,000 of basic life insurance to each regular employee, at no cost to the employee. In addition to this coverage, employees may elect to purchase additional supplemental life insurance in the amount of 1x, 2x, or 3x his or her annual salary. The cost of this supplemental insurance is based on the employee's age and annual salary.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage is added for an additional 3¢ per $1,000 of insurance.

Dependent life insurance is available for $4.70 per month and provides $10,000 coverage for each eligible dependent.
