A Note from the Dean
I am pleased to welcome you to the School of Arts & Letters at North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU). The School of Arts & Letters is the largest and most diverse academic unit at NGCSU and is charged with the responsibility of offering the bulk of NGCSU's core curriculum as well as dynamic and challenging majors and minors in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The faculty of the School of Arts & Letters are committed to the academic growth of every student. We stress the development of critical thinking abilities, aesthetic appreciation, effective written and oral communication skills, and the integration of knowledge across a variety of academic disciplines.
