Department of Health & Physical Education

The Department of Health & Physical Education offers two Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree programs: the major in Physical Education & the major in Athletic Training. The major in Physical Education offers the following three emphasis areas: (1) Teacher Certification (P-12), (2) Exercise Science & (3) Physical Education with the Leadership Minor. A Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in physical education is also offered at the graduate level.

The Physical Education (Exercise Science) program is no longer accepting applications for Fall 2009 admittance. The upcoming class for Fall 2009 is full. The next application period (for Fall 2010 admittance) will be January-February, 2010.
