Leadership Minor
"North
Georgia College and State University is the premier leadership
training institution in the state of Georgia. Leadership training
is part of our very foundation; when NGC was created in 1873,
the leadership training program of the Corps of Cadets was
established. The Corps of Cadets has set a tone at this institution
for over 125 years, producing military, government, and business
leaders for the state and the nation. Not only is leadership
training the very foundation for NGCSU, but it is also our
hallmark. The Corps of Cadets is recognized today as an excellent
leadership training program."

It is for this reason that cadets graduating from NGCSU are
provided the opportunity to seek a minor in leadership. The
Leadership Minor is an excellent program designed to prepare
students for leadership positions in both military and civilian
sectors. Through classroom instruction and practical applications
provided through the Corps of Cadets, you will emerge an experienced
leader prepared to take control, make decisions, and become
a leader among your peers.
