Instructional Technology services
A division of Information Technology

Technology at North Georgia

IIT Redefined.

The Instructional Technology Services (ITS) group supports faculty and students alike.
ITS ensures all audio/visual needs are met and that any new technology that arises in
this field is introduced to this campus. ITS contracts or installs, and maintains all instructional
equipment chosen for the needs of faculty and students. ITS also controls and
facilitates all of the video conferencing classrooms and equipment associated with distance
learning. This group is responsible for webinars that will be attended by groups of
people, and maintain several locations on campus that are enabled for these events.
Scott Marshall, the coordinator of ITS, is responsible for overseeing that all projects are
completed. He is state certified in video conferencing with years of expertise in the field of
audio/visual equipment. Eric Nelken, the coordinator for student environments, is responsible for making sure that all classroom technology is maintained and up to date. Eric
was once the manger of HelpDesk and is now responsible for computer- related issues involving audio/visual equipment. Matt Hagler, the Multimedia Specialist, is responsible for editing and creating videos for faculty and students. Matt has extensive knowledge in television production, and is currently in charge of NGTV.

If you have any questions about how to use any of the instructional technology on campus, or have suggestions for enhancing learning, please do not hesitate to contact this group.
