You should take Intro Psych (1101) and Advanced General (1102) as Freshmen.

  • MATH 2400 Stats (spr) * no longer a pre-req for 3070
Sophomore Year Area G:
  • PSYC 3070 Quantitative Methods (fall)
  • PSYC 3080 Research Methods (spr)
Junior Year Area G: Start taking upper level classes with labs and get to work on research projects!
  • PSYC 3150/L Social Psychology with Lab (fall)
  • PSYC 3530/L Abnormal Psychology with Lab (fall)
  • PSYC 3310/L Learning & Cognition with Lab (spr)
  • PSYC 4230/L Neuroscience with Lab (spr)
Senior Year Research with a faculty member Area G:
  • Senior Honors Thesis
  • Independent Study
  • Reading & Research

Junior/Senior Year Area G:
  • PSYC 4230 Neuroscience
  • PSYC 4230L Neuroscience Lab (if you've completed PSYC 3080)
Junior/Senior Year Area G elective:
  • PSYC 4250 Sensation & Perception
