PSPM (Psychology Student Participation Manager)
For all students seeking extra-credit. Follow the directions below to log into the system:
PARTICIPANT LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS
1. Go to https://www.psych.uni.edu/pspm/ngcsu and click on student.
2. Login using your student ID number (this is your 9000 number) as your Student ID. Your password consists of the first letter of your first name, the first letter of your last name, and the first four digits of your student ID number. For example, John Doe with a student ID number of 900045650 would be assigned jd9000 as his password.
3. Click on Choose Study on the left side of the page. A list of available studies will be displayed. You may click on a studies name to find out more information about it. Make sure that you can be present at one of the available sessions and that there are no additional restrictions that would prevent you from participating (for example, some studies may only be available to women, people in a certain age group, etc.)
4. Once you find a study you would like to participate in, click on, Sign-up for Study.
5. Show up at the session you signed up for.
That's it! Your instructor(s) will be automatically notified that you have signed up, and will assign you additional credit after the session is completed (provided, of course, that you participate as agreed).
If you need to resign from a study, simply click on, Resign From Study, on the top menu bar. You will be displayed a list of studies you have signed up for, and will be able to select which ones you wish to resign from.
*** If you fail to resign from a study, and don’t show up, you will be debited one credit for each study that you miss. The negative credit can only be made up by participating in another study... and only then are you back at 0 and have received no extra credit. You must participate in an additional study in order to gain positive credit. For example, if you failed to show up for one study (and did not resign), you would need to participate in two additional studies to gain one positive credit.
