Changing your major in Banner
If you change your major to Psychology using your banner account the following things will happen before it becomes official:
1). an email will automatically be sent to Dr. Robertson who is
keeping up with our majors and assigning advisors
2). Dr. Robertson will send you an email asking you to watch/listen
to the online advising (because we want you to be
informed consumers)
3). Dr. Robertson will set-up a time to meet with you, talk about
your future, and assign you an advisor
4). Dr. Robertson will send an email to the Registrar asking them
to change you major to psych and telling them who your "official"
advisor will be
All this may take some time, please be patient. You are always welcome to stop by 102B Dunlap Hall and check your progress. We welcome everyone to become a psych major, but we want to talk with you before making it official because we want you to accomplish your goals in a timely fashion (i.e. we want you to get advised).
