Study Skills

One goal of the Center is to assist all NGCSU students in improving their academic skills, thus enhancing their chances of retention, academic success, and timely graduation from NGCSU. In addition to providing excellent academic advising services to all Open Option and Pre-Education students, the Center also offers various academic skills enrichment seminars and workshops. In keeping with NGCSU's strong commitment to providing its students with the necessary academic support from matriculation to graduation, the Center is equally committed to providing all students who need assistance the extra "helping-hand" they need to realize their educational dream at NGCSU.

In collaboration with NGCSU faculty, staff and students, the Academic Advisement Center offers tutorial seminars and workshops in the following areas. Handouts on each subject are available in the Center and on this web site.
